Leaving Neverland

In this video, I’m giving my tuppence worth on the Leaving Neverland documentary, feminism and current issues in preventing child sexual abuse, or intervening earlier.

I realise that departing from modern feminism makes me something of an anomaly: someone who has experienced sexual violence who thinks that feminism is unhelpful in our recovery process. This is due to the role of the victim, relative to a man, which seems to be a central tenet of this movement.

I explain my reasoning, as well as issues which I think are more important to focus on in order to tackle child sexual abuse, below:
